This corvette has had the same owner since 1986. The corvette still features mostly original paint and all original interior. This vette has a very solid frame, birdcage, and body mounts. This corvette has had extensive mechanical work done by a NCRS certified corvette mechanic. Here is just some of the work done to this corvette. All this work was done in the summer of 2006: Rear trailing arm bushing, rear trailing arm bolts, rear trailing arm shims, rear trailing arm support hardware, rear trailing arm dust shield, rear trailing arm bearing kit, spindle, emergency brake shoes, emergency brake hardware, emergency brake cable, 4 disc brake rotors, mickey mouse clips, half shafts, half shaft flanges, half shaft u joints, half shaft french locks, half shaft u bolts, strut rods, strut rod caps, strut rod bushings, spring bolt kit, center differential mount bushing, shock upper hardware, shock lower hardware, stainless steel front brake hoses, stainless steel rear brake hoses, master cylinder, 4 stainless steel calibers, brake pads, carburetor rebuilt, edelbrock performance intake, spark plugs, spark plug wires, cap, rotor, vacuum advance, motor mounts, heater hoses, radiator hoses, vacuum hoses, dual exhaust. Plus the whole front suspension was rebuilt and the engine was rebuilt at a different time. In 1979 GM produced 12,000 with Gymkhana suspension, and 8,000 with the 4spd transmission out of over 54,000 built. They also only produced 5,300 in dark blue.
